Dysautonomia is any disease or even malfunction of the autonomic nervous system. This includes postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), neurocardiogenic syncope, mitral valve prolapse dysautonomia, pure autonomic failure, multiple system atrophy (Shy-Drager syndrome), and the total of lesser-known disorders.

Around the select few lawsuits, dysautonomia effects inside a reduction around the ability of the heart & circulatory body to compensate for even changes in posture, stimulating vertigo or syncope (fainting) when 1, eg, stands suddenly. Inside more events, a heart can race (tachycardia) for even no apparent understanding, or a kidneys could fail to properly locate a stream (diabetes insipidus).
